General rules of conduct

• Please note that use of the WALDBLICK Wellness | Spa | Fitness area is at your own risk.
• No pets are permitted throughout the wellness and fitness area, including in the outdoor facilities.
• To prevent injuries, we request that you do not use glasses, glass bottles, cans or other breakable or dangerous objects anywhere in the spa area.
• You are not permitted to bring your own food and drinks into the spa area.
• The consumption of alcoholic beverages is prohibited throughout the wellness and fitness area. You are welcome to enjoy a range of drinks at our hotel bar.
• Our spa is a non-smoking area. Smoking in the wellness area is permitted only in the designated areas.
• For the sake of your own health, as well as to ensure hygiene in the entire spa area, the use of footwear such as sliders or slippers is recommended. These can be obtained from reception if required. Be careful when entering the wet areas – risk of slipping on the wet floor!
• To ensure optimum relaxation for you and other guests, we kindly ask you to refrain from using mobile devices and radios throughout spa area – especially in the rest and relaxation areas, in the pool area and in the fitness room. Out of consideration for other guests, please conduct conversations at a low volume.
• Photos and video recordings are strictly forbidden.
• The saunas, steam bath and the nudist sun terrace are exclusively intended for use without clothing.
• Our team will be happy to assist you at any time if you have questions or if there is an emergency.

Sauna rules

• Please shower and wash your body before each sauna session.
• For hygienic and health reasons, use of the saunas and steam bath is permitted only without clothing and access is permitted only for persons aged 16 years and over.
• Please always place a towel underneath you on the seating and lying areas of the saunas that come into contact with your skin.
• As far as your own physical condition is concerned, keep in mind that the sauna has high temperatures between 40°C on the ground and up to 110°C below the ceiling.
• Please note that touching the sauna stoves is strictly prohibited – risk of burning.

Pool rules

• Please shower and wash your body before using the pool.
• Swimwear must be worn throughout the spa, except in the designated areas.
• Please always place a towel down underneath you and refrain from “reserving” the loungers. We reserve the right to free up unoccupied seats.

Fitness rules

• For safety reasons, use of the fitness equipment is permitted only when wearing sports clothing and appropriate footwear.

• Please always place a towel underneath you on the sitting and lying surfaces of the fitness equipment.

• For safety reasons, training in our fitness room is permitted only from the age of 16.

• For hygienic and health reasons, we ask you to use the provided disinfectant wipes after using the equipment.

• Out of consideration for other guests, we ask you not to make phone calls in the fitness studio and to refrain from listening to loud music. You are welcome to play and listen to your music via headphones.

• After using weights and equipment, we ask you to return them to their designated place. This is for reasons of general safety.

• Please keep mirrors clear to allow you to check your posture when performing exercises.

Dear families, we look forward to welcoming you and your children to our WALDBLICK Wellness | Spa | Fitness area. First of all, we would like to remind you that your child’s well-being and appropriate behaviour towards other guests are your responsibility. We therefore ask you to observe the following points:

• Children up to and including 15 years are welcome when accompanied by a legal guardian at all times.
• However, the saunas, steam bath and nudist outdoor areas are available exclusively to guests aged 16 and over.
• Please note that jumping from the edge of the pool and running anywhere within the spa area are prohibited – risk of slipping and injury on the wet floor!
• Risk of injury!
  To protect your baby and ensure hygiene throughout the spa area, we request the use of special swimming nappies.
• Children aged 3 years and over must wear appropriate swimwear. Children’s bathrobes and slippers are available from our team on request.
• As a general rule, noise levels should be kept to a minimum.

We wish you a valuable, relaxing time in a peaceful location surrounded by beautiful nature. We will be happy to respond to any questions, suggestions or requests you may have.

• Reservations – all services require prior reservation. Please reserve your treatment in good time before your arrival by telephone on 09624-9190, by e-mail: waldblick@gut-matheshof.de or in our web shop. Our treatments can only be booked for DAY SPA visitors or hotel guests.
• Cancellation – If you are unable to attend a treatment appointment, please let us know as soon as possible. Free cancellation is possible up to 24 hours before the start of the treatment. In the case of cancellation up to 2 hours before the start of the treatment, we charge 50% of the booked services, while in the case of a later cancellation or if you fail to turn up for your appointment, we charge the full amount.
• Late arrival – out of consideration for our other guests, please note that if you arrive late for a treatment, your treatment time will unfortunately not be extended. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, your treatment will no longer be possible. The cost of a missed treatment is charged in full.
• Clothing – Please arrive for all treatments wearing a bathrobe, and without jewellery and valuables Please wear underwear during the treatment. For smaller facials, as well as manicures or pedicures, you are welcome to wear comfortable casual clothing.
• Health and pregnancy – Please fill out our health form before your treatment. Tell us about your medical, physical health such as high blood pressure, heart disease, surgery, allergies or pregnancy before your treatment. Our team will be happy to advise you on suitable treatments.
• Take your time – Complete relaxation takes time. Please arrive at the SPA reception 10 minutes before your scheduled massage/cosmetic appointment.
• Product line – In addition to massage oils from KURHAUS, products from Janssen Cosmetics are also available.

Sustainability is very important to us and we have therefore decided to introduce a Green Promise fee of €10 for the use of a wellness bag (1x bathrobe, 1x bath towel, 1x sauna seat towel and bath slippers) or a single bathrobe.

In addition, we charge a deposit of €50 to your room bill for the use of a wellness bag or bathrobe. Once you return the rental items to reception, the deposit will be removed from your room bill. If you require only a bath and sauna seat towel, we will be happy to lend these to you free of charge. We will charge a €10 deposit to your room bill, which will be taken off again once you return the towels at reception. Contact the hotel reception if you would like to borrow a wellness bag, bathrobe or towels.
